Often
marketing is a lack luster career path, believe it or not.
And sometimes a thankless one too. Many an executive team
says that when a product sells well, it is because engineering
did a good job and they have a great salesforce. But when
a product fails, it is because marketing did not position,
price, package and promote it correctly. So why would anyone
want to go into marketing?
